#ARCAugust 2019

I may be joining in late, but better late than never, right? ...Right?

I have been collecting ARCs with the intention of reading them for the past few months, but my summer has been busier than anticipated. With trips to NYC, France, and Halifax, as well as presenting at two conferences, starting an internship, and writing my MA thesis, it makes sense as to why I wasn't able to do more reading this summer. I honestly don't know where I got the idea that I would be able to read more in the summer. It's laughable, really.

But here we are! 12 days into ARC August, and I'm joining in! My goal for this month is two-fold -- get caught up on my Goodreads goal, and fall in love with reading again. It's been far too long since I've really been able to read for fun, and read the books I'm actually excited to read, and I just want to read more! So that's why I've made my ARC August TBR a mix of books I've been reading for far too long and need to actually finish, and some books I am just itching to finally dive into.

Here are the books!

The Prom: A Novel Based on the Hit Broadway Musical     The Grey Sisters

We Contain Multitudes     Dear Evan Hansen

Like a Love Story     Hello Girls

Some of these books are on this list specifically because I have idea around a posting schedule for the fall, and some of them are just on the list because I've heard so many amazing things about them that I know I need to get into them.

What are you reading this month? Are you participating in #ARCAugust? If you are, let me know so I can follow your progress on Twitter!

Cheers my dears!
